- Dr. Godishala completed his undergraduate Pre-medical Education at New Science College in Hyderbad, India. Then he attended Kakatiya Medical College (Osmania University) in Warangal, India and obtained his medical degree (M.D.).
- His post doctoral training included one year of flexible Internship at Osmania General Hospital in India.
- Residency training in Internal Medicine for three years and Fellowship in Cardiology at the Brooklyn Hospital - Caledonia Hospital, affiliated with State University of NY at Down State Medical Center.
